The performance parameters of sintered neodymium iron boron magnets mainly include three key magnetic properties, including residual magnetism, coercive force, and (maximum) energy product.

Residual magnetism (B) - Measurement of magnetic field strength. Neodymium magnets have high remanence, which means their magnetic field has very high strength.

Coercivity (Hci) - This is the material's ability to resist demagnetization. Neodymium magnets have high coercivity, which means they are very resistant to demagnetization

(Maximum) Energy Product (BHmax) - This is the density of magnetic energy in a permanent magnet, characterized by the maximum value of magnetic flux density (B) multiplied by magnetic field strength (H). Neodymium magnets have very high energy products.

Essentially, the key magnetic combination of neodymium magnets makes them a versatile and exceptionally sturdy permanent magnet. In fact, the maximum energy product of sintered neodymium magnets is between 200 and 400kJ/m3, while the maximum energy product of aluminum nickel cobalt (or ferrite) magnets is between 10-88kJ/m3. This additional power and performance significantly expands the number of applications, and many new technology developments are entirely based on this indicator of neodymium magnets.
